Local Branch Beer Scoring Form to
enable members to score any beers or ciders that
they try within the Branch
Area. This follows the NBSS scoring

What is it ? |
| The
NBSS is a eleven point scale (0-5) for judging the
beer quality in pubs. It is
an easy to use system which has been designed to
assist CAMRA branches in selecting pubs for the Good
Beer Guide. It encourages CAMRA members to
report on the beer quality that they have found in
any pub in the UK. NOW ONLINE see below.

Beer that
is anything from barely drinkable to drinkable with
considerable resentment. |

Poor and Average |

Average |
Competently
kept, drinkable pint but doesn't inspire in any way,
not worth moving to another pub but you drink the
beer with really noticing. |

Average and Good |
| 3 Good |
Good beer
in good form. You may cancel plans to move to the
next pub. You want to stay for another pint and may
seek out the beer again. |

Probably
the best you are ever likely to find. A
seasoned drinker will award this score very
rarely.
