The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) is an independant, voluntary organisation campaigning for real ale, community pubs and consumer rights. We have over 190,000 members nationally and we promote fine beers in great pubs. Locally Mansfield and Ashfield's CAMRA branch has around 900 members and organises events to promote real ale, including regular social activities, day trips, brewery visits etc as well as producing our popular Ale and Apple Magazine. Links to our diary and the magazine are on the left.

Winning Cider Pub of the Year , 2019
Our LocAle scheme encourages pubs to stock at least one beer from a local brewery. This helps to reduce 'beer miles', boosts the local community and creates an increased sense of local identity and pride.
We are always on the look out for more people to help with the campaign. Come and join us, you could have fun whilst doing it. We do have vacancies on the branch committee and in particular we would like someone to become our Young Members Officer. So if interested in this or any other vacancy come along to our next branch meeting.
